Review by hotel critic
As an archaeologist who has traveled extensively through the Middle East, my recent stay at the Pearl offered a refreshing blend of modern comforts and culinary innovation that I found quite noteworthy. The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast buffet-style, featuring a delightful medley of continental, American, and Asian dishes. I was particularly impressed by the freshly prepared Turkish pastries, a stand-out item that truly represented local flavors. The charm of the dining area, adorned with subtle decor, created a pleasant atmosphere—a perfect preamble to a day of exploration. On my first morning, I indulged in a delightful breakfast, complemented by Nisa Hanim's mother's homemade pogacas—deliciously flaky and utterly unforgettable. The staff displayed commendable hospitality, accommodating special requests without hesitation, ensuring a satisfying experience. The location provides easy access to local eateries like Yalla Falafel and Midyeci Ahmet for culinary adventures beyond the hotel. My experience was an exemplary balance of comfort, culture, and cuisine, making the Pearl a notable choice for any discerning traveler.
